What You'll Experience:
  • Learn About Tools and Materials: Discover a range of professional-grade weaving tools and materials; and how different tools can enhance your weaving projects.

  • Hands-On Weaving Experience: At first, you will receive guidance from an experienced instructor to create and plan your weaving project. Our workshop recommends commencing your weaving adventure with a basic scarf or a beautiful pattern that may be decorated.

  • Creative Projects:  You'll start by learning to prepare the yarns, warping, and the essential tasks of drawing in and denting. During the weaving phase, pay close attention to the steps of shedding, picking, and beating-up.
    Rest assured, our workshop offers detailed guidance from warping the loom to crafting your own designs, helping you become proficient and confident in numerous weaving techniques and patterns. End the day with your very own handcrafted weaving piece!

  • Sustainability in Weaving:  Bring any recyclable materials from home to create lovely, functional artwork. We are committed to teaching sustainable procedures that use natural and recycled yarns to reduce environmental effect.

  • Create and Contribute:  Finish your session by creating a one-of-a-kind, handwoven piece. You can either take it home or sell it in a community centre, with the revenues benefiting charitable causes.

All materials provided are eco-conscious, ensuring that every weave you make supports sustainable practices.

Pricing: ( What's included in the price? )

  • Your loom will be prepared for you to start weaving immediately, with all yarns and tools provided. (If you've attended our previous spinning activities, we highly recommend bringing your own spun yarn to use in our weaving session.)

  • Free parking area.

Flexible - Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts.
